Cauliflower Farming

Climate: Cauliflower thrives in a cool and slightly moist climate. The optimal temperature range for good growth and curd formation is generally 15∘C to 21∘C (59∘F to 70∘F). Extreme temperatures (too low or too high) can lead to physiological disorders like “buttoning” (small, unmarketable curds) or yellowish, leafy curds

Soil: It can be grown on a wide range of soils, from sandy to heavy soils, but deep, fertile loamy soil rich in organic matter is most desirable. Good drainage is essential, and the ideal soil pH is between 6.0 and 7.0. Cauliflower is particularly sensitive to deficiencies of boron and molybdenum.
